Like I said earlier, sign up for CPS (canon pro services) and get equipment evaluation loaners.. They let you test shit twice before you buy it and can be up to two weeks. $100.00/year gets you the ‘gold’ membership.
dont.careParticipantIf you want something, and it’s something that plays in your mind–you might as well get it. For when you buy the alternative, you will most likely regret it.
dont.careParticipantNew York and California are a progressive liberal tree hugging hippies paradise; you can have both of them and shove them up your ass. “Fashion Capitols”, haha. Blow it out of your ass, there’s people of impeccable quality from all over the globe, not just in your concrete jungles..
dont.careParticipantI held the 6D and I absolutely hated the feel of it.. It felt like a cheap plastic toy to me.
dont.careParticipantThis thread is a bit of a witch hunt.. Little bit outlandish to be actively ‘seeking’ for people to make fun of, don’t you think? I didn’t dig too deeply in the links posted, but none of them (from what I’ve seen), would make it to the front page on this site.
There’s pure shit and then there’s “OK–fairly decent”. When people say, ‘fauxtog’, I automatically assume someone that’s spot colored, out of focus, bad angles, loss of detail, and the other shit that perpetually quantifies them as horrible. Most so than that, is they don’t give a fuck about their clients and are just trying to make a dollar.
dont.careParticipanttbh, you could probably get away with what you do with your 5dc until it dies. I’m pretty sure you work around your own schedule (?), where you can plop a tripod and hit the shutter release and expose your images for as long as you want.
I’m not insinuating you spend 2 thousand more dollars on a 5d3, lol.
One thing, I can see I don’t like for certain is the 1/4000th shutter speed.
dont.careParticipantNo built-in flash Professional
A built in flash is important for taking shots such as indoor shots and evening shots when there isn’t as much light. If you’re buying a compact affordable camera then you should ensure you get a flash. Many higher end cameras do not come with built-in flashes and instead provide an external hot shoe onto which you can add a flash.
o_0, I don’t think they are insinuating that popup flash is either good or bad.. Pretty unbiased, I think.
dont.careParticipantPopup flash can be useful! It means the camera can most likely trigger OCF. Although, I’ll stick my radio triggers.
dont.careParticipantGoogle: http://snapsort.com/compare/Canon-EOS-5D-Mark-III-vs-Canon-EOS-6D — Pretty in depth resource
dont.careParticipantI’ve never used a 6D.. It has built in WIFI and GPS I think? I didn’t like it.. It felt too much like a cheap camera to me.. Felt in all honesty, like something below a 60D..
dont.careParticipantLOL ^ O_o
dont.careParticipantDon’t let it overwhelm you.. It’s not like it’s going to quit being your friend if you mess up! Get 3 lights and an ste3 ! (or an ste2, if you don’t mind optical) !!
dont.careParticipantes ist ein wunderbar kamera.. Lol. 12,800 is essentially equivalent to 3,200 on a 5D2
dont.careParticipantdont.careParticipantYou guys need to sign up for CPS gold or platinum and get equipment loans to try shit out for a week or two before you buy it!
http://www.cps.usa.canon.com/about_cps/about.shtml <- if you guys have enough equipment to get enough ‘points’, you can qualify for certain levels.. Unfortunately, if you don’t have enough to make gold, the equipment loan program is out of the question :[.
