That’s funny.. It’s a felony to impersonate a ‘referee’, I can’t imagine what kind of hell you will reign down upon yourself for impersonating a Lawyer..

I didn’t even notice she was calling out someone for ‘grammer’ errors. Lol, doth thou needeth a dictionary? Or, doth knowith not, that ‘grammer’, is correctly spelled ‘GRAMMAR’.

What saddens me is: the two photos you posted that look horrible with absolutely no technical understanding of lighting/composition/etc; and you having the audacity to trash them here.

First off–I’m assuming you’re using direct on camera flash.. Stop. Get the flash off the camera

Secondly–Your subject has no separation from the background; you need a kicker light, otherwise your subject looks as if it’s being dragged into the abyss.

Thirdly–Never take photos of children from imposing angles.

fourth–You need to work on flash lighting.

I’m not sure if your background is black, or if you’ve blacked out ambient light with SS/Fstop.. But for photos like that–You need separation from the background.

Mine is private. I have no likes of public opinion. There again, I’d rather receive praise from the client vs. the unknown.. A Client with local friends is worth 1000 likes online.

I’d suggest you look into entering contest more suited to your particular skill-level. Better yet, if you think your work is worthy–I’d suggest you submitting your work to a gallery.. If it’s accepted–your entered. If it sells–you win. Not to mention, you begin to build your name and reputation.

nesgran–Yeah, I’m still a long ways off in regard to actually making a purchase.. I’m going to see about borrowing one from CPS or just renting before I make an absolute decision.
