To be quite honest, it ought to be a crime to impersonate a photographer.. The legal system.. An Epic Fail in sooo many ways.
dont.careParticipantThat’s funny.. It’s a felony to impersonate a ‘referee’, I can’t imagine what kind of hell you will reign down upon yourself for impersonating a Lawyer..
dont.careParticipantCowboy boots? those are work boots.

dont.careParticipantFirst off–I’m assuming you’re using direct on camera flash.. Stop. Get the flash off the camera
Secondly–Your subject has no separation from the background; you need a kicker light, otherwise your subject looks as if it’s being dragged into the abyss.
Thirdly–Never take photos of children from imposing angles.
fourth–You need to work on flash lighting.
I’m not sure if your background is black, or if you’ve blacked out ambient light with SS/Fstop.. But for photos like that–You need separation from the background.
dont.careParticipantMine is private. I have no likes of public opinion. There again, I’d rather receive praise from the client vs. the unknown.. A Client with local friends is worth 1000 likes online.
dont.careParticipanteh? about ten inches to infinity.
dont.careParticipantI can pay for likes too, if I had to. 🙂
dont.careParticipantBEG.,
I’d suggest you look into entering contest more suited to your particular skill-level. Better yet, if you think your work is worthy–I’d suggest you submitting your work to a gallery.. If it’s accepted–your entered. If it sells–you win. Not to mention, you begin to build your name and reputation.
dont.careParticipantWhoever that is, would lose a braille photography contest for the blind. That shit would be ugly to the touch.
dont.careParticipantI own 2 24mm lenses, and not a 35mm.. That’s my opinion 😉
dont.careParticipantnesgran–Yeah, I’m still a long ways off in regard to actually making a purchase.. I’m going to see about borrowing one from CPS or just renting before I make an absolute decision.
dont.careParticipant10 grand is more like 16-20 depending on your credit rating, lol.
dont.careParticipant10 grand wont go far in pro-gear..
