The difference between 16bit HDR and 32bit HDR is night and day.. single exposure HDR is absolute garbage.
the more exposures at different ev’s gives you better quality end product.. When you create an HDR make it 32bit save as TIFF and open as Camera RAW.. sooooo much nicer than the grunge effect that 16bit gives you.. my 2cents
dont.careParticipant“it’s a photo effect!”
Va Va Zoom Photography It is the real thing Michael Bell, its a photo effect that makes it look miniature lol
January 27 at 5:12pm · LikeI say it’s safe to assume she is using TS blur on photoshop.
She has some decent photos of birds.. too much post process and fake effects… Quickly diminishes the good..
.. nothing says authentic like the real thing.
dont.careParticipantan award for what ? misuse and misunderstanding on texture layovers? how _not_ to use a healing tool ?? I see a bunch of problems with this photo.. technical problem galore

+1 for previous commenter, good infos.
dont.careParticipantI’d like to know what award too.. Those false vignettes are horrid, so much stuff is wrong ;[
dont.careParticipantoh posh.. I’ve never seen a FF point and shoot !!! ;D rofl
dont.careParticipantAddition to my crate: 24mm f/3.5 TS-E :] .. the stork dropped it off last night
dont.careParticipant;[ that is sad.. I really would like to write on that persons wall.. But–I should exercise restraint more..
dont.careParticipantWow, that baby looks dead.. I’d be mad as hell if someone took a picture like that.. If that’s her best work, I’d hate to see her worst..
She uses that “imposing” angel standing over people.. Not a good angel .. she needs to be fired from her camera
dont.careParticipantUnedited photos means they suck at editing and don’t want to get sucked into that lie!! Btw, unless he’s using b&w film; he technically lied about the editing.. No digital camera (that I know of) shoots black and white by default..
Ok, so apparently after further review — the Leica M shoots B&W .. I highly doubt however, he is affording one of those.
dont.careParticipantWell, seeing how you are not charging–You are by definition, “not” a so called fauxtographer.. With that said; one does not simply take photos with a Kodak Easy Share and ask people to be objective.. The IQ of said camera, leaves a lot to be desired.. I think if you’re interested in photography than there will always be room for personal growth and learning.. Albeit, the first thing you should do is get an *SLR if you plan on making it more than a hobby sometime in the distant future.
Edit: Or atleast something with manual controls.. I.e. shutter/aperture .
–Just my opinion..
dont.careParticipantI have to agree with cameraclicker.. They look pretty gut…
dont.careParticipantNothing says poser like selective color. I find it absolutely horrid to use grey babies in colorful worlds.. A tribute to the dead? No…
Black and white is one of the most appealing forms of photography (to me).. but they are extremely easy to make look like an In Memory Of type of thing .. (in reference to: http://www.facebook.com/PicturesByChell?ref=ts&fref=ts) but, yea.. =D those suck.
dont.careParticipantI’ve showed up at legitimate shoots with a powershot just to see the reaction.. You would be amazed that over half are complacent about it. I don’t use the damn thing but it’s fun to see the reaction when there is one…. What’s funny is, is that these people are paying big bucks and to suit the purposes of this site they quite frankly don’t know any better to expect more or less whereby allowing a select group of “photographers” to exploit this and make money producing crap like you see on the main page.. However, I did do that one time and the guy point blank said, “Are you f’ing kidding me?” I immediately said yes..
But anywho.. I have a powershot for a particular reason.. I don’t care about breaking it for 1 and it’s nice light small and takes somewhat decent photos.. When you’re meeting someone and they want you to do something, it’s nice to have photos to formulate a plan you can return on more confident.. personal preference but completely a choice and a fairly straight forward tool to help build ideas on before you go do the real thing. q:D
dont.careParticipantCclicker: the iso is the reason I don’t use it in dark conditions which is highly limiting and I don’t want to cause a lot of people epilepsy with off camera flashes.. Which is primarily my reason for wanting to sell the 5d ii and the 1ds iii for an additional 5d iii and still have a 1.6 crop frame 60d for an ‘essential backup’.
