Personally I’d say….give her some advice. Tell her they are terrible and maybe she should think of doing a class or something beforehand. If she has a brain she’ll listen….if not…she’ll have a fit and ignore you…and then…eventually fail.
RalucaSParticipantHow about….leave them be and don’t butt in? There a probably thousands of people doing the same…
RalucaSParticipantI completely agree you know….the number of times I’ve seen awful shots with comments such as “lovely” and “great shot” and so on…and loads of people would agree it’s awful but only in secret….if someone would dare give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism openly they’d pretty much get stoned to death over the internet.
RalucaSParticipantI kept trying to figure out what macro shot you’re on about…but I get it now…you looked on my website!…I know the colours are quite vibrant, but I intended them that way…it’s kinda “my thing” if you will….I like vibrant colours…and the whole fairytale look.
Haha, To be honest that was taken when I was doing a tutorial session with one of my favourite photographers. I used to have a lot of issues with focusing…right next to where I wanted to…cause the model was always moving…and I get a bit to passionate about it and…kind of forget :)) However…I think I might have wanted to focus on her jewellery though…cause it was a fashion shoot. Thank you though, good to hear different opinions 🙂
I don’t ever re-shoot stuff tho…I try to think of better ones generally.
RalucaSParticipant@spike oh I’m pretty sure fat people are still fat no matter how open minded you are

RalucaSParticipantI no care, I rebel and laugh at your Film
RalucaSParticipantThis thread is hilarious. Props to you dicksforeyes!
Anyway…I thought I should give my oppinion…why not…
I really love the bokeh, colours and generally the whole technical side of your work, however your subjects need to be a bit more…interesting. Try to piece together a story behind the images or add a bit of mystery with shadows. Maybe try some weird angles or shooting through things(like sheer material or tree branches). Smoke can look nice as well…some different locations…you get what I mean.
Hope this helps 🙂
RalucaSParticipantThanks! They’re not all so saturated, but you’re right it’s a taste thing.
RalucaSParticipantLove this one
