If you go through the comments on Youtube someone gives the guy’s facebook link. I followed it from there to his wordpress site. He has the pictures from this night posted there.

Looks like work done with a camera phone and some Halloween themed app.

One of my favorite local ones. He tries to do spot coloring and never gets it right.

In this one he screws up the spot coloring so bad that one eye is in black and white while the rest of her face is in color. Also several spots in her hair are black and white. He is also a really big fan of vignettes.

Let’s see. It’s all canon stuff.

    Camera Bodies:

    Film: EOS 630

T2i (My father is currently using this one with a couple of EF-S lenses)

    40D

    5D

    5D MKII

    Lenses:

    EF 20-35/2.8L

    EF 70-200/4.0L non IS

    EF 50/1.8

    EF 85/1.8

    EF 135/2.0L

    Lighting:

    Metz 50AF-1

Speedotron  2403CX with (3) 102 heads (picked this up for a steal used, less than $500)

    Rimelite Fame 400WS monolight

A couple of cheap no name 300WS monolights

Various modifiers too many to list here.

I’ve been wanting  to get some more lenses, just haven’t really found any that I can’t live without. At least I haven’t found a way to justify the expenditure.

Oh I forgot, I also did some blemish removal. The older girl’s skin is a mess.

In a couple of the shots the girl is wearing colored contacts. I don’t care for them, she likes them. She didn’t want to take them out. I don’t really do much post. Mostly just contrast adjustments. Thanks for the input.

I’d have to agree, that is a horrendous shot.

He does seem like he has gone out of his way to get them to take as much clothing off as he can get away with……just creepy.

It’s not a stage name, she uses her real name. They also work with a number of children’s charities. I personally just think it sends the wrong message.

OK, after a little research the “cougar” reference is to the school they go to. Apparently the school’s mascot is a cougar. The comment would have made more sense if they had been wearing school jerseys or jackets I guess. The way they are dressed it looks like he is referencing something else.

Sorry the “work” above is a typo, should be “word”

I hadn’t seen that one. I don’t understand the comment either. My understanding of the work cougar was also an older woman going after younger men also. I agree that they also look nude, I don’t know it that was intentionally set up that way or not. They were wearing strapless dresses.

In this day and age I just think it sends the wrong message. Even if the subject and her parents are OK with it, what kind of red flags could this send to other potential clients and their parents.

I also do think that age factors into it. Calling someone underage and young enough to be your daughter sexy is a little questionable. At least someone aged 18-22 as you asked about is in the same general age group and not in the same age range as her parents.

If the client wants to put that in one of their albums, that’s up to them. I just don’t think I would want that on my page. Seems like it sends the wrong message.
