The ghosty image is pretty unclassy for what seemed like should have been a rather traditional type photo.
The groom seems tall and slender while the bride is quite curvy. Him standing on the top step makes him look even taller and her much shorter and more round than she probably is. SHe is a lovely bride and should be posed to show her lovely dress in a more flattering manner
The photo was too much about everything else and not enough about them, except it is centered so nicely heh
The first three words that I said upon seeing this were, ‘What?’ (seeing caketopper bride) “What?!’ (realizing weird shit behind her is the groom being dragged) and finally “WHAT!!’ (upon seeing that the real bride is being made to look even shorter and chunkier (sorry, PC peeps, just sayin like I see it) than she already is.
So lemme get this straight: she is clearly a domineering bitch above all else cause evidence of that is posted on some Joe(lle?) IgnorantSchlub Photography Farcebook page. *eyeroll*
Gawd almighty. Gawd, please save thems that’s about to be married from the $500 (or less) /8hr wedding fauxtog. Please!!!!
bad cake topper aside – I’ve done weddings where they used the same topper – unfortunately the couple never checks with the photographer about the choice of cake toppers.
It doesn’t matter to me as the photographer who is in charge in the relationship – and it doesn’t impact this image, the job of the photographer is to make them look good and this image fails.
The posing is awkward – since he is already taller than her and then you throw in an overlay of the bad topper – bad idea.
Yep, the cake topper is an unfortunate but popular choice. I hear there’s also a “daddy with shotgun” topper out there if the intent is to have the wedding fly in the face of convention and decency) ..but I digress.
IF I didn’t know better I would think that the photographer here was actually taking some kind of cheap dig at the clients by taking pictures that actually appear to mock the clients’ choices and the clients themselves.

This would actually be a pretty nice photo if everything about it was different.

Yep. Another case of “I did it because I can.”

Wait… is that the cake topper where the bride is dragging the groom …. cause nothing says classy like…
simoncookerussell
Art imitating life in that relationship most likely.

I’m always confused by cake toppers that imply that one member of the couple actually really hates the other one.

Stick to the photo. I don’t care for that topper either, but it is a very popular one with couples today for some reason.
Alex
