I say “bring ’em on!” I prefer a head-on fight.

$460 wedding album! Oh man! Look at that! WOW! I’m in awe… of how terrible it is.

Bad color temp, lens flare, blown out highlights, and just poor exposure – these folks do it all for you!
joehomeownerParticipantFor whoever it was that asked – it’s not completely illegal to impersonate a lawyer. It’s a state-by-state thing. The most important thing is that for anything to happen, the lawyer would have to complain or join in the complaint. If they don’t, then there is not really anything to go on.
And now, because if you were anywhere on the internet today, you might’ve heard of Romeo Rose, Sleepless in Austin…
He’s a wedding p… fauxtographer:
That slideshow is the bomb! Nice cropping in that first one, oh man! I love the blur of the fourth one! The vignette on five and six is amaaaaaazing!
(If you somehow missed this guy, here is a good write up about this insane dude: http://www.dailydot.com/lol/romeo-rose-sleepless-in-austin-ad/ )
joehomeownerParticipantI am not a photographer, just a critic. I think it is funny that the Digital Lightbox guy showed up to tell us all that his shitty, grainy band photos are awesome and everybody loves them. I wonder if his face is as blurry in real life as it is in his photo?
As for everything else, I find it even funnier. Why? I work in a law office. First off, you don’t “send papers” through the mail. Most jurisdictions don’t allow that in this country. Sometimes you can do it via certified mail, but that is still in a minority of cases. Secondly, you can’t sue for somebody’s opinion unless they are specifically lying. The person who thinks they can sue people for posting here is an idiot.
joehomeownerParticipantOn their actual webpage, it is better.
They have SOME stuff on there that is good. I know for a fact that there are several people working here, but I’m not sure why they would hire somebody that does such awful work, as it reflects poorly on the person who was responsible for building the original business.
I’ll put it this way, I know that they just hired a new person recently. The owner even bought the young lady a D7000. She has no formal training and prior to that only had a D40, but now she works for a “professional studio” with her brand new camera! And a friend of a friend posted some shots of cosplay outfits in a studio setting from them and sometimes you could see the edge of the backdrop. Who does that?
I guess the owner will just get anybody to work for him.
joehomeownerParticipantThere is also this one, called “One Rock Studio”.
They have wedding albums like this http://onerockstudio.photoreflect.com/store/ThumbPage.aspx?e=8703000&g=0TDQ007R00
But they also really good work. It is very inconsistent and makes no sense.

Definitely want an 8×10 of that one!

He can underexpose and overexpose the same girl! Talent!

“Outstanding work, Joe!” No, no it’s not.
“…also really like your use of B&W” Why?
Wow, that guy is super blurry. I wonder if he has a strange skin condition that causes it?
His page is tagged in this photo of (I guess it is him):

He is a photographer that can’t get a non-blurry photo of himself? Well, hell, let me hire him right away!
This faux has a polo shirt and a t-shirt with his logo on it, and thisĀ is the crap that he gives to the world.
