joehomeownerParticipant
Well, that music photography is terrible.
And upgrading from a D40x to a D3200? Isn’t that just a lateral step in a more modern direction? He could at least move up to the D5000 series, jeez.
joehomeownerParticipantSo the person who didn’t want to pay $600 for wedding photos ended up going with this person I believe:
https://www.facebook.com/FlawlessFotosPhotography
I’m not sure what’s going on with some of those senior portraits. The one kid on the purple background has an OOF mouth in some shots and harsh shadows galore. Those also seem to appear in a lot of indoor wedding photos (harsh shadows). Seems like this person has nice equipment (good DOF and crisp shots) but not the experience or know-how to make it really pop. Seems just kinda average.
joehomeownerParticipantOut of focus http://jzpics.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/8.30.09-448-1-copy-1024×679.jpg
Not very sharp http://jzpics.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/5-17-08-148.jpg
Flat use of B&W – it’s just boring and flat http://jzpics.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/3.3.12-Amanda-Khail-623.jpg
joehomeownerParticipantI have a friend of a friend looking for a wedding photographer for their wedding on May 10th and I already know they turned someone down a student at a mere $600 as being too much money. Anyway, this person above was recommended with the recommendation “they’ve been shooting since before you were born”. And yet in the slideshow alone there is so much wrong… Obvious pop-up flash… Stuff simply out of focus.
I doubt they will find anybody for their price and this fast, but I hope if they do, it’s not that person up there.
joehomeownerParticipantBut guys, there’s a cooooool reflection in the water!
joehomeownerParticipantHow do you all feel about this sorta thing?

Overuse of wide angle, I guess? The people end up looking like little people because they get squished down. I keep seeing photos like this of weddings and other events online and it seems really bad to me. Is this becoming a popular thing for some reason?
joehomeownerParticipantHer kids and how many men she has had them with are irrelevant and you are a slut-shaming shitbag for mentioning any of it. In fact, it puts you at a level that is no more professional than her. Your work could be better, but you still have a highly unprofessional attitude.
joehomeownerParticipantRoyce – D3200 or D5200, based on comparing an image online to the one posted on the previous page:
The 7000 series has the window on top, while the 3000 and 5000 do not. The 3100 and 5100 don’t have the mic on the left side or the orange record button on the right side, so it’s either a 3200 or a 5200.
joehomeownerParticipantWhat in the fuck is this?

“Chicago Photobooth Company”
These people don’t even have any backdrops in the photos they’re taking. And the lighting is all kinda bad. I know the whole photobooth thing is becoming kinda popular, but why would someone try it like this?
joehomeownerParticipantFacebook is a great social media platform. If you are going to use it, you should use it in conjunction with something else, like a real website. It resizes photos in a weird way from everything I understand, and it often adds noise to them when none is visible in any other setting where you are viewing the same photo at the same size. If you are going to use it, you’ll have to resize things yourself before uploading them, which is probably a lot of work.
The best thing about it is when you do photos for a business of any type (a store, a band, an event) – you can tag the people involved in them (or they can tag themselves) and you get an instant connection where people know who did the work and who to talk to if they want something similar – it’s free advertising. But if you’re only doing it through Facebook, you’re not going to look too pro.
joehomeownerParticipantOften, secure connection links won’t work to other countries. The link was https:// and not http://. The image itself also had the secure mark, but since it’s just a file, it tends to work just fine.
joehomeownerParticipantOh man, I bet she was bitchy. She is the meanest person I’ve ever met. She says “hello” and is polite and holds conversations with her friends. I’m sorry that she didn’t kiss your ass enough or whatever, “Crazy Jowls”. I mean, I was there for awhile last year, too, and she was quite polite to everybody I saw her talking to. If you thought she was bitchy, and you thought her boyfriend was in the way and smelled bad, I think the only real problem here is you.
joehomeownerParticipantLike all of Jude’s friends, Joe, I pity you. From your actions and even your posts here it is obvious that you are a control freak. This all began because you were unable to tell somebody else what to do. And you let your control freak attitude affect your professional judgment and you let it continue to do so.
We now have credible threats of violence posted by you. It is laughable that you have threatened legal action, because as someone who works in a law office, I can absolutely tell you that at this point YOU are the only one that is able to have any legal action taken against them:
You have made a continuous trail of harassment (using multiple Facebook profiles) to harass somebody that has blocked you.
You have made threats of violence.
Lucky for you, Jude just thinks you are a joke, as does everybody else who has given any attention to this.
Here is a helpful link for you: http://www.yellowpages.com/hanover-pa/psychiatrist?from=SEMPS_GGL_Search_acct=Branding_Dynamicads_ad_level=High&gclid=CMK998T4qroCFUGd4AodUX0ASg#utm_campaign=SEMPS_GGL_Search_acct=Branding_Dynamicads_ad_level=High&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=psychiatrist+hanover%2C+pa
Please get some help, Joe.
joehomeownerParticipantI wish you would’ve thrown Jude into the highway. That would’ve been a hilarious scene. Your buddies could have helped you.
As someone who actually knows him, I know he doesn’t smell. It’s a bit disturbing that you keep repeating this stuff about grooming when you yourself sport a really goofy beard among other bad grooming habits. Maybe you’re obsessed with his smell because it attracts you? Is that why you keep e-mailing him and offering to buy him beer or coffee? You want a date? That’s cute. I’m sure he’s tickled to death about it all.
The most professional response here is to continue to say somebody smells bad and threaten them with violence.

“CrazyJow” telling the vendor that they were excited to have her back. In any case, he’s a liar. He’s lying here or he’s lying there.
And for the record, the 3rd vendor only signed up way after this one did, so how does his story make any sense?
