I swear that there is not one single straight photo in the whole album – makes me woozy just looking through it.
June 28, 2014 at 2:13 pm #19673NoLoveLosslessParticipantAw, here’s another one for you to enjoy…found this one on craigslist too!

Good God how do these people keep getting business?
(yeah, I’m bored today 😀 )
June 28, 2014 at 2:35 pm #19674NoLoveLosslessParticipantOne thing I’ve noticed after going through all the fauxtogs linked in this thread – just about every one of them, AND the people they are taking these pictures for, can most likely be found fitting right in on the ‘people of Walmart’ pages as well. 😀 😀
June 30, 2014 at 5:32 pm #19756Chrstyfrst08ParticipantHello! I am new to the forums here, but not new to YANAP. I am currently enrolled at the Art Institute of Pittsburg for photography, because I do want to BE a professional photographer. I will not say I am one and I don’t have a FB page dedicated to my photos. I am also a member of Professional Photographers of NC, I became a member in hopes of finding a PROFESSIONAL in my area that I can do an apprenticeship with, as well as, have access to the schools and workshops they offer.
Now since this thread is dedicated to fauxtaugs who should end up on this page, I would like to share with you a photographer in my area.
https://www.facebook.com/jayneseyephotography, she may have made an appearance already, if not she needs too. Especially this one, imo -https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=464951460306312&set=pb.442005989267526.-2207520000.1404163812.&type=3&theater
Perhaps soon I will get the nerve to post one of my own photos for review.

https://www.facebook.com/abcbywandagJuly 3, 2014 at 2:44 am #19841chrispyphotosParticipantThe pictures aren’t too terrible.. what gets me is the “about” section..blatantly calling herself a hobby photographer yet charging 150 for boudoir sessions?.. (which seem more like just swim suit session).. there are way too many momtographers here on Guam it baffles my freaking mind.
July 7, 2014 at 12:42 am #20077fstopper89ParticipantSomeone I know posted a handful of family photos on Facebook. I am not sure if they were taken by a supposed “professional” as there are no watermarks, but in all the photos, including the large groups and individual families, everyone is color-coordinated and posed in specific ways. But, whoever took these may not be charging money so therefore may not be a fauxtographer. Not only were the photos horrible- shot haphazardly in full-sun, yellow/green color casts, just overall terrible, but upon noticing something weird I looked closer. In all of the photos, her daughter is obviously ‘shopped in! She has shared custody with her ex, and I think the daughter was on a vacation with dad, so that could explain why she wasn’t present for this photo-taking. But she is cut-and-pasted into all of the photos. Different light pattern, different white balance, and a really bad chop job of the layer masking.

July 9, 2014 at 8:11 pm #20216illekkenobiParticipantlocal to me. found her on craigslist.
They’re all pretty strange.
July 9, 2014 at 8:22 pm #20218illekkenobiParticipantAnother Craigslist find.
I’m assuming this is supposed to be a kiss from his mother?
Holy Bow!!
I’d definitely like the one of me wiping my kids slobber off of my husband in an 8×10.
Ah, the hipster photo shoot.

In the same wedding, the photos range from completely dark and murky:to completely overexposed:
and a failed use of a cliched prop:
