Here is another local one I stumbled upon today. www.facebook.com/pages/Moxie-by-Melo/212837458762376
Nothing screams “portrait” like a sunburn and a straight jacket.
Aside from the background appearing sharper than the subject, lets cut off her right arm just to be sure.
This is a new one, the old hand heart over the ultrasound. First time I’ve seen it on someone’s knee though.

These are pretty lame, can never under stand how you can buy a bottle of Coke, take a picture of it and call your self a commercial photographer!
And if you are going to use a free website template, at least change the ‘button text” to some thing that makes sense.

And who uploads to a model site when they can’t even rotate an image.
December 20, 2013 at 11:53 am #15860nairbynairbParticipantOMG WCS. That SuzieQ one is just awful!
December 20, 2013 at 12:20 pm #15861emfParticipantLOL that blown out baby from SuzieQ is just a pair of eyes…and they are out of focus. Incredible!
December 20, 2013 at 12:33 pm #15862cameraclickerParticipantSuzieQ offers courses!

December 20, 2013 at 1:30 pm #15867jim-eParticipantI’ll be honest – there’s a morbidly curios side of me that would LOVE to take a course from somebody that is this oblivious as to their own lack of ability. Too bad I don’t live in the UK lol.
December 20, 2013 at 1:30 pm #15868nesgranParticipantShe’s even proudly showing a photo of a girl where she hasn’t even bothered removing the red eyes, oh, and it is blurry. I wonder if the faux business would die quicker if the entry level DSLRs they insist using didn’t have a pop up flash
December 20, 2013 at 3:16 pm #15870cmsbParticipantWell crap, I think she took it down, noticed Suzy Q’s website main page, shouldn’t it be advertising not adevertising? Unless that is the common spelling of the word in the UK?
December 22, 2013 at 11:32 pm #15892deanoParticipantI’ve posted this one before, but this fauxtog is particularly annoying to me. It just steams me to see these people charge for this kind of work. The dance photos were solicited by a teacher in a local school. I mean, is she blind?

December 23, 2013 at 6:35 pm #15893CoastalTogParticipantI noticed she’s using continuos lighting for portraits. One of the first clues of being a fauxtographer.
December 23, 2013 at 7:30 pm #15894sethParticipantWhy?
December 23, 2013 at 8:26 pm #15895cameraclickerParticipantI noticed she’s using continuos lighting for portraits. One of the first clues of being a fauxtographer.
I’m not a fan of continuous lights because I find them too bright for me as a model and not bright enough for the camera, as a photographer. But, that’s just my opinion. Peter Hurley (peterhurley.com/) uses continuous lights. Jim Schmeltzer (kelbytraining.com/author/jimschmelzer/) uses continuous lights, he even appears on behalf of Wescott to do seminars using their continuous lights. Again, just one guy’s opinion but, they don’t seem like fauxtographers. I’m sure I could list a slew of others if I did some research. These two come to mind immediately.
December 23, 2013 at 10:40 pm #15896alexandraParticipantI’ve shared this one here before (mostly due to really excessive skin smoothing, and weird backdrop editing), but now they’re using a cover photo that’s definitely not theirs. They’re in no way claiming it as their own, but it does give people a false impression…
