I’ve posted this one before, but this fauxtog is particularly annoying to me.  It just steams me to see these people charge for this kind of work.  The dance photos were solicited by a teacher in a local school.  I mean,  is she blind?

I’m not a fan of continuous lights because I find them too bright for me as a model and not bright enough for the camera, as a photographer.  But, that’s just my opinion.  Peter Hurley (peterhurley.com/) uses continuous lights.  Jim Schmeltzer (kelbytraining.com/author/jimschmelzer/) uses continuous lights, he even appears on behalf of Wescott to do seminars using their continuous lights.  Again, just one guy’s opinion but, they don’t seem like fauxtographers.  I’m sure I could list a slew of others if I did some research.  These two come to mind immediately.

I’ve shared this one here before (mostly due to really excessive skin smoothing, and weird backdrop editing), but now they’re using a cover photo that’s definitely not theirs. They’re in no way claiming it as their own, but it does give people a false impression…
