ParticipantShutter Bugg… what’s with that horrible name? And why type up your price list and then take a tilted photo of your computer screen? https://www.facebook.com/Adirondack.Shutter.Bugg.photography/photos/a.657320457694719.1073741903.106896982737072/795403303886433/?type=1&theater
Jake is very inconsistent. He had a few, especially more recent ones, that I would consider pretty nice. But some that WCS shared are train wrecks.
Jen/Three Little Birds is awful. She joins the rest of the fauxs who post weird irrelevant things in poor grammar on her page. Keep it professional or keep it off your business page.
KML: She started charging $20 for a 1-hour shoot, now increased to $25 per hour. She has no concept of using light- the very basis of photography. She is one of those who call themselves “natural light photographers” simply because she shoots outdoors. Not because she actually knows how to manipulate natural light properly.

I love these “photographers” who have such obscure terms. No mention of how many photos, and “full session with no time limit”. I just see this so often whether it’s “no time limit” or “unlimited photos”. So you’re just going to turn your camera on and start taking shots until we grow old and tired? And yes, posting a tilted photo of your computer screen inspires zero confidence to meaningful clientele.

ParticipantIsn’t “Family Love” an incestual porn reference? Gotta be careful with that…

ParticipantAfter spending a considerable amount of time saving a friends atrocious wedding pictures these guys need naming and shaming!!

Yes he went cheap despite being told otherwise but god they are terrible… Their website is a sorry mess as well!!

Apart from the harsh sunlight not being taken into account, the constant tilting horizons that make my head hurt and the over sharpened images there is nothing good about these. Check out the colour pop in their galleries as well.
These guys need a feature!

This woman’s page says that she’s been a professional photographer since 2007, and yet I found her in a photography group on facebook, claiming to be a beginner, and asking “how do I get a blurry background using a Nikon D3100?”
I was tempted to write back that if she didn’t know something so basic, and still considered herself a beginner, then maybe she shouldn’t be charging people up to $200/hour for her “professional” services.A couple of notable mentions:

ParticipantThis Lady asks for people to share her page. So I thought this would be the most appropriate place.
You never know what you’ll find in your local craigslist….

ParticipantMaybe she should call herself “Photography on the cheap”. Technically, all photography is “on a budget”. Some people just have more to spend than others. And I’ve never been a fan of the photographer who charges according to how far he/she has to drive. You should always have a “region” and travel outside that may be subject to a travel fee but I don’t like “Location varies the price.”.

ParticipantI can’t see the logic behind this one. “This edit makes it hard to see the guy on the left’s face, meh, no one will notice, I’m posting”. Just. Why.

ParticipantOkay. I can’t compete with Joaquims Photo Dreams, but I’ll give these guys a special mention as their website states that if you use a friend of a friend, you are likely to get a “hand full of low quality, un imaginative pictures”

Here’s a few gems from their FB page..
