    Selective coloring is something I’ve done at the request of others, and this is not necessarily a portfolio of my best work, just a collection of stuff that people asked to see. I understand that I still have a lot of work to do, and that my editing skills leave quite a bit to be desired. However, I consider higher contrast pictures to be part of my style and something I choose to do. I don’t really shoot faded/pastel pictures like some photogs do.

    Also, what’s wrong with shooting motorcycles, and why is the picture of the guy doing a no-handed wheelie specifically a bad shot? I’m not looking for praise, I’m definitely looking for constructive criticism but I want to know more about how pictures could be taken/edited differently to create a better image.

    I’d say shoot the picture, keeping copies of the original, the post processed image, and the color selected image. Give them the edited ones, and let them decide between color selected and not. Use what looks good to you for a portfolio image if you wish.
