ParticipantI’ve been looking at this photographers “work” for quite some time and figured I’d share. I hope this is the correct way to do such a thing… If not, my apologies.
I don’t even know where to begin when trying to describe this. What I don’t get is how many people seem to “like” it. It seems like photography has become more a marketing scheme than an actual technical/creative skill.

and here’s a link to another FB page that may be more “pro”? I don’t know…

ParticipantBoils down, perhaps, to standards. Boom-whiz-stuff sells because it appeals to the uniformed customer – those who do not know better than to like it? Maybe.

ParticipantDefinite top Pro Faux.
Way to many technical issues and just plain bad taste. The selective color thing, fine when done right and in the right situation and not overdone, like every other photo.
The tattooed girl is what I would “assume” is his girlfriend or he is trying to bang her. She is definitely not a model, not saying that all models have to be drop dead gorgeous, but studio 13 takes whatever beauty this girl has and makes her look like a white trash slut posing for a ’70’s issue of Easy Rider. As for the many “Likes”, called Like ladders on Facebook, or they participate in those like for a deal situations. I think Facebook has jumped the shark and it’s worth has peaked and will be going down gradually unless they make some changes.

Melissa S. RibletIt’s a her… Ugh (in response to what Bill said).
How do you open this in Photoshop… edit it, and then be satisfied when you end up with this:

Definitely one of the top Fauxtogs I’ve seen here

Well … I suspect this was also Photoshop
It may not be great art but at least https://scontent-b-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/1240625_401147599985390_1867253179_n.jpg has a cigar box art flavour to it. Why would anyone think little bright crosses would improve a picture?
She shot a wedding. I don’t know how many photos were taken, 276 were posted including some duplicates in B&W or with spot colour. Wonderful stuff like this: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151710333068491&set=a.10151710332708491.1073741835.221518668490&type=1&theater
or this one I will mention in honour of ebi: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151710333618491&set=a.10151710332708491.1073741835.221518668490&type=1&theater . I think a blue vignette is even more inspired than a white one!
Here is another, with a white vignette, and as far as I can tell, nothing in focus! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151723036973491&set=a.10151710332708491.1073741835.221518668490&type=1&theater
Why would anyone think this was good enough to post? https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151725012708491&set=a.10151710332708491.1073741835.221518668490&type=1&permPage=1
This, https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151725013023491&set=a.10151710332708491.1073741835.221518668490&type=1&permPage=1, needs a caption! How about “What happened to the light bulb?”
I’m still shaking my head and wondering if anyone finds that set of wedding photos acceptable.
