Sometimes I have good photography days, others not so much… I think I’ve been doing pretty well the last couple of days (but of course, that’s just me comparing me to myself!). 🙂
Good use of DoF in the first pic but it could use something a little more interesting as the centre on attention. The pic of your sister is great! I didn’t zoom in so the focus looked fine to me. The light painting looks cool but without being able to see the face it suffers from the same problem as the first pic.
Actually you just gave me a great idea for the light painting picture, so thank you (well, it could turn out horribly haha)! I think I’ll definitely use a light against my face for a moment during the exposure, it should look creepy/cool. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that before!
I really like the shot of your sister. I would definitely recommend using a reflector or something to try and brighter her up a smidge or put some light in her eyes just to add some extra depth. 🙂 They’ve all come out pretty well though!
