Glass of Groom or Glass of Bride?

The fauxtog must be a glass half full kind of person to think posting this in their portfolio was a good business move.

I think the clients hads too much of the wine when they selected their fauxtographer

  2. I could edit this pic better with Paint…

  3. Omw. HOW do they come up with these ideas???????????

  4. 1990 called they want their images back!!

Did they get into a car crash and die after the wedding?

More like 1984……..it makes me sad to see such offenses to the eye.

  7. This is done in Russia quite often, isn’t it?

  8. It’s like the Tholian Web from Star Trek (TOS). Bride and Groom are caught in an interdimensional rift – phasing in and out of champagne flutes. The giant disembodied left hands hands phasing in and out of the table are kinda worrisome. Maybe that is what the groom is pondering, as opposed to shagging that girl in the next glass.

  9. I was going to say Ann, this has Russia written all over it. We ought to focus on the positive – at least it doesn’t have magic stardust all over it.

  10. And is she in the glass, or in front of the bow?

  11. I’m glad to see that the groom at least has his head above water, but his bride is going to drown if he doesn’t do something quickly!

  12. Another one to add to the list of ‘Just because you CAN do it (badly) does not mean you SHOULD do it (EVER!!!)

  13. Oh, I dunno. I think the artichokes and broccoli in the background add a certain je ne que c’est pas.

You should live where I live ! I am surrounded by picnik photographers!! They charge what I charge as well. Lol.

  15. The Charlie Scott- you owe me a new monitor, I just spit coke all over mine. Great comment.

  16. Sadly the photo isn’t that old, it’s less than 5 years old.

  17. Yeah this screams Russian wedding photography lol

  18. ¡Patético!

  19. Do they tell the clients that they will be doing this? “So, your hands will be on the wine glasses and… Are you ready for this? YOU will be superimposed IN the wineglasses!”

The really horrifying thing is, people still encourage this awfulness. I don’t know if they’re just trying to be polite or if they actually have no sense of This Looks Awful.

  20. And that’s the thing — if this is your market, if you’re aiming at Russians or any other culture that finds this appealing, of course you put it in your portfolio.

  21. The80’s called and they want their wine glasses back.
