sethParticipant
Ah, but I simply like to think so, therefore it is true.
sethParticipant“Ok let’s just agree to disagree on this one, I have been a professional photographer for years , i just simply like to think of it as one of my friends following me around.”
And I simply like to think Carrie Underwood is in love with me.sethParticipantWow they are dumb. I also tend to just gloss over what anyone says when they write “lense.”
I love how he says look how the orb is in focus, ROFL.
sethParticipant“We now only do shoots we think would be fun, leaving behind the confines of paid asignments.
WE want to make Photography fun again ! We are always open to new ideas !”
sethParticipantOk I gotta pick on them again because this is so laughable it hurts: http://www.bigboy-photography.com/outdoor-shots/studio-staff/
Not even counting the typos, no last names, only one staffer has a pic – come on, you’re supposed to be PHOTOGRAPHERS – and that one pic on there is nowhere near that of a professional, the “studio manager” doesn’t even have a first name on there and “is very good at what she does…” What does she do…? Suck?? It’s absolutely ridiculous!!
sethParticipantBut “diguest,” “portfilio,” numorous,” etc… I understand not everyone can spell but REALLY!? There is no excuse this day in age to have all that mess. Spell check is so easy. Just copy the text from your website and put it into any word document creator and you get all the red squiggly lines… if you don’t have it built into your browser already!
sethParticipantBig Boy… I’m originally from that area and have never heard of him. I call shenanigans, too. Next time I’m in town, I’m going to have to check out this “studio.”
sethParticipanthmmm yeah, well hopefully they will come through for her – no way back if she’s already paid a buttload of money!
Maybe you can make sure you get some shots to supplement. 🙂
sethParticipantYeah they have a few problems with being soft and bright spots, not to mention horrid selective coloring. I don’t think they are so horrible but they are overpriced for what they are showing in their portfolio, in my opinion. Did your friend put down a deposit or pay a lot at this point?
Also, some of you were asking before how can someone, even on full auto, have blurry pics? I’ve figured it out. haha.
My friend needed to borrow my camera, nothing real important, but I was just unloading the pics to convert and etc them for him – I shoot RAW, he’s pretty computer illiterate. Anyway, I was in a hurry when I handed it to him and he already knows how to run the camera and that I use back button focus, etc., but I just quickly told him to put it on “P” – so using the speedlight I have and it on programmed auto, apparently the camera lowered the shutter speed to like 1/10 and 1/5 because I failed to change the ISO from 200 for him, as I’d last used it outside and do not do anything on auto. So… oops 🙂
sethParticipantI need to get me some of those.
sethParticipantWow, beg, I had no idea what she meant by “stocking” until you spelled out all the definitions. LOL
sethParticipantOh! Misread the first post you made, so you ARE Cynthianna…
I just want to ask you… how is taking a bench out of a photo having fun with it? Seriously, enlighten me here. The real fun, wouldn’t that be putting the girl in the grass in the first place? Certainly less work and is more real.
sethParticipantFabled…. post away! Doesn’t matter where you find fauxtographers, they are everywhere!
sethParticipantbwahahahahahaha back off your page??? Who are you then?? So I can avoid your page.
Glad you know how to use an encyclopedia, congratulations!
However, I stand by what I said – a true professional would never show, as alarnold says, is not up to par with the industry.
sethParticipantmonkeymess… you’re a mess. There’s a difference: photographers will take the weird shot the parents want and not put it in their portfolio while fauxtographers put everything in their portfolios whether it be badly lit, out of focus, etc. Big difference.
