It Makes My Eyes Burn
ParticipantFirst thing this reminded me of was the baby that was transformed into a White Walker in Game of Thrones.
Game of Thrones anybody?

ParticipantAnother recent find in my neck of the woods. To me nothing says fake as saying you studied a the New York Institute of Photography while living in Texas. Must of been an online class for taking photos with a cellphone.

ParticipantOh, and since shes running stuff from her personal page also, you can find more of her shots there that are of the same quality. And its posted all over about why should you pay $100’s for photos when there are others out there that do it cheaper.

ParticipantTimeless wedding photos, just what everyone loves to have of their wedding! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10201422518143473&set=a.10201422379019995.1073741846.1190467512&type=1&theater

ParticipantI happened to stumble across this fauxtog because she was harrassing another better pro about her prices and posting her own $20 per session prices on this person photo page. So I decided to take a look and to me the $20 per session fee is way too much for her snapshots. It was kinda like stumbling across a goldmine for this page.
https://www.facebook.com/cola66Photo on train tracks with a bunch of photoshop filters for “artistic” pleasure. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=763842106979318&set=pb.275621062468094.-2207520000.1396200799.&type=3&theater

ParticipantNot exactly sure what to say here. It’s a senior photo with the subject dressed in what almost looks like military dress blues, or maybe the whole outfit is mismatched, while wearing an army beret. And on top of that he is posing in front of a Vietnam Memorial. Maybe I just don’t get what the photog was trying to go for here. Any ideas?

ParticipantThis baby is just absolutely horrified at how his fauxtographer is treating him

ParticipantSeth,
She got her competition removed by flagging all of her competitors photos claiming they where pictures of someone elses kids, which they where cause that’s what she shoots. And they shut down her page.
It Makes My Eyes Burn
ParticipantIn one of my photography groups, a member got her photography facebook page shutdown by a competitor. So I looked at the competitors page and found a bunch of snapshots with multiple photoshop filters applied to the same photo. Maybe not horrible enough to wind up on front page, but this chick is definitely a fauxtog.

ParticipantSomething I came across last night. I can see the creativeness in some of the posing and props, but the rest is just lack of any kind of training. White wrinkled sheet for backdrop, very bright sepia filter (probably from photoshop), green skin tint, plus some props and poses that I just wouldn’t do with kids cause it just looks dangerous.

ParticipantJust popped up in my Facebook Newsfeed from Tosh.O
Funny as hell, smh.

ParticipantI looked around at B&H and the D5200 is the only one that matches. Has like mic holes on the popup flash and only that one mode quick selector for motor driving.
B&H has a 360 view.

ParticipantFinally had a chance to really take a look at this KC guys stuff. Took awhile to get around the quicktime errors which may actually may be an error on my side since I do not install quicktime on my computer. Then I made it to this “Special Effect” gallery and hurt myself from laughing. I guess this guy just happen to get Photoshop/Lightroom (or one of the derivatives) and then starting posting photos using every last one of the filters that came with the program.
I can’t lie and say I never played around with all the filters cause I have. And I think I only have one photo that I liked from messing around with that I kept to hang up. But out of the thousands of photos I’ve taken this year, it is only one photo. And I believe that I have gotten better over the year in taking and post editing my photos. Where as before, I was basically manipulating them. And with that being said, I do not have a gallery set up showing all my failures. Then again, I also have some that are keepers and not all junk.
This is just absolute horrid http://www.portraitsbyandrekc.com/PBAKC/Special_Effects.html#grid
Has this guy been around long? Anybody know if he is getting any better? Cause I’m not seeing it.

ParticipantSomebody should of written this for Terry Richardson along time ago.

ParticipantShe has a Nikon DSLR, not sure which. I was unable to tell. But her photographer is better than she is.
And for the KC guy, 4 programs make his photos look like even worse crap. I think he did 25 years of photography with a Disney Viewfinder.
