It’s been said but there’s no way i’d pay $5k  for anything without viewing it first.

I’m less worried about cheap fauxtogs now, whoever books them probably wouldn’t have paid my prices anyway. BUT WOW, $5k i’d have flown over from the UK to shoot that and still made a profit.

i need to go find people with £5k to spend and not many braincells!

Good points on the ear, and lighting in the first one.

The hat on the second one made me cringe when i noticed. I’d already took several cars and a sign out but missed the top of the round building. The buildings are fully operable, Leeds City just looks a bit derelict 🙂

the over exposed one is pretty shoddy in hindsight, fair enough.

The comments on her looking like a teenage boy are out of line in my opinion, perhaps, like two other people that day, you associate short hair with men and long hair with women, it’s not 1950  😉

I’ll chalk that up to your over-active imagination! But she is a teenager, so you’re right in part.

I don’t know what happened on Flickr. I don’t really comment much. Faves and views rocketed about two months ago and haven’t stopped. I don’t see the volume of views and faves as an indication of brilliance though 🙂

I wouldn’t say you were a faux. You seem to at least have a basic grasp of coloru, tone, line & form etc. The violin ones aren’t great though.  Just keep shooting/

Maybe the ‘spirit’ of photography lies in the eye and how you see what you’re shooting, but you can’t shoot what you see without learning how to shoot, which involves knowing your equipment and how to use it.

Jlui – I think his color space is set to AdobeBLARRRGGGHHHHHOMGMYEYES. CHUCKLE.

It depends what youre shooting whether you use auto or manual Focus. If im taking my time i will use manual of i need to be quick, say for a fleeting street shot ill use auto on Af-c.

My girlfriend is from Somerset, Bridgwater, which I believe is near Taunton.  I’m due a visit to meet the parents soon, most people usually do this before they get them pregnant!
