Those images are revolting. It is no more possible to “beautifully capture” a fatty than it is to draw a square circle. “Beautiful plus size” is an oxymoron.

Tineye is basically worthless compared to Google image search (which does search by image now).

Maybe there is only one with flash. The effort I’m willing to invest in these things is almost nonexistent. My eyes refuse to look.

Also, it seems pointless to offer detailed advice as there are dozens of other sites where one can solicit critique. The only reason to come here for that is the vain hope of positive feedback, given that the bar is so low. Sorry that didn’t work out for you, hrodgers.

The stuff you did with flash is awful. Other than that, the rest of it looks ok to me. Which is to say a little better than just anyone with a DSLR.

Saturation is a little much for me, but otherwise I really like this stuff.

You’re basically a guy with a camera. The photos are not interesting. If you want to take more interesting photos, find better things to shoot (usually people doing interesting things).

First album looked pretty good to me. The plebs are going to say they’re underexposed.

Well, they can post their work and be completely delusional with regard to its merit too. That’s got to be worse than carefully concealing your identity and hiding your stuff because you know it’s worthless.

I don’t find either of these behaviors unexpected. But I was sort of surprised how clueless some of the pretend-photographers are about the actual practical matters of shooting. For example, I think of couple people claimed that I’m using sunsets as a crutch, but shooting right into the sun effectively is waaaay harder, not easier. Not to mention that I constantly get requests to do sunsets. Then there are people who manage one passable shot of someone that’s always around, in the controlled environment of their home, and now believe themselves capable of arranging a shoot with a stranger in an unfamiliar location and nailing a dozen excellent photos in an hour. Stuff like this really belies any sort of actual experience shooting.
