Hello, I am a 16 year old student who has quite an admiration for photography. I have some pictures I have taken over a year or so (please take note the lower down the page the older they get!) I obviously don’t claim to be professional though perhaps in the future! I am starting an a level in photography next year and have had a little bit of experience attending sessions with more experienced photographers. So I’d just like some feedback basically. I do not have my pictures on any other website 500px, especially not Facebook.
I don’t do a lot with 500px. They have a formula that takes several factors into account to produce a number for each photo and for your page. If you play the game, you get results, but it is a reasonable result. That you are getting traction at 500px is a clue that you are doing fine.
Most of your photos don’t speak to me but I see good control, and your photos will never speak to everyone. Keep shooting, you are doing great.
Thank you for your feedback! I have a decent number of ideas to start working on in the near future after I have completed my exams. I think a major perimeter in my photography is the fact that I can not exactly afford to visit anywhere interesting other than my small average city. But again, thanks. 🙂
