At first I thought not so bad but then the wedding photos blinded me. How how how, over $5k likes??
August 1, 2013 at 12:05 am #11627iliketagParticipantI have mixed feelings. They could be phenomenal, but the work is absolutely overedited. I didn’t see any wedding photos, but I didn’t wade in that far.
August 1, 2013 at 1:27 pm #11628fstopper89Participantalexandra, those are awful! “Doing professional photography to gain experience.” Fauxtographer’s mark right there.
August 1, 2013 at 2:24 pm #11629wtfParticipantAugust 1, 2013 at 11:46 pm #11631fstopper89ParticipantThe client was embarrassed the fauxtog posted this one online. Yeah, if they were goofing around, the photographer should have the respect/discretion to not post something inappropriate such as this! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=356069537852995&set=pb.310235365769746.-2207520000.1375414770.&type=3&theater I mean it’s called common sense…
This is the laziest newborn photo ever. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=337522583041024&set=a.337521036374512.1073741849.310235365769746&type=3&theater On her bed, with a nook in his mouth, on-camera flash, cut off the feet, all around badly composed.
Fauxtographers never seem to pay attention to their light source and what it’s doing. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=310241389102477&set=a.310241249102491.1073741827.310235365769746&type=3&theater
Furthermore, looking through her albums, it looks like she’s still a student.
August 2, 2013 at 12:22 am #11633sethParticipantWTF kind of name is “Roulette Exposures”??? I guess her “exposures” are like another game of Roulette.
I saw one a few weeks ago that was called “White Elephant Photography.” I about peed myself with that one I was laughing so hard.
August 2, 2013 at 12:23 am #11634sethParticipantI feel bad for that girl that had that joke photo posted though. Then the fauxtog defends herself and says “well if you really don’t like it I can take it down.” How about just DO IT then apologize profusely to her face for your bad judgment??
August 2, 2013 at 10:53 am #11637wtfParticipantYa a student, but one that charges. I wonder what the professor thinks of their work. :/
August 2, 2013 at 5:59 pm #11642IntuitionParticipantGood grief and it’s ohio state as well. I go to Art institute of pittsburgh online, which I know is shit, but I’ve learned more then her, it says she’s even a senior. wtf
August 3, 2013 at 4:49 pm #11646dstone81ParticipantGotta love this lil gem. Spot coloring, blurry pics, aged pics, poor editing and bad composition. Found them on Craigslist.
August 3, 2013 at 6:11 pm #11647fstopper89ParticipantUgh, Artsy Pics is bad on so many levels. Unprofessional name, terrible graphic designing of their website, boudoir photos that look like they’re from the ’80s, a tranny with clown makeup modeling for multiple album examples, uncomfortable subjects,, fake blur, exposure and wb issues… it’s probably an older photographer who did it as a random side job/hobby for several years and has no clue how bad they are.
August 3, 2013 at 10:08 pm #11648wtfParticipanthttps://www.facebook.com/ArtsyPics yuck! found them on fb. Wow, that is a hot mess.
August 4, 2013 at 3:36 am #11649iliketagParticipantOh WOW, all these lately are just… wow. How is it so many of these non-transitioned photographers end up on craigslist?
I found this person posting their “Artography” in a group I’m part of…

August 4, 2013 at 3:41 pm #11653cass335ParticipantThis photographer offers “Face Sculpting”
“You can receive a more realistic looking photo by having us remove the phantom pounds added by the camera. Town square Photo can then glamorize and soften the photos. The mother in the photo below required little attention but we enhanced the eyes, removed the phantom pounds added by the camera and increased the color slightly.”

Yup! Fake eyes, and plastic doll skin is way more realistic!’
The thing is…they aren’t like a “fauxtographer” disaster. They have potential to be good. But then they go and offer the “Face Sculpting”
August 4, 2013 at 7:19 pm #11656sethParticipantWTF is up with her hand???
