pikcheese@CoastalTog: I think OP’s work is solid. Yes, he cross processes but that doesn’t mean anything from a photographers standpoint. The line of thought “This looks like VSCO cam so it must suck” is a dangerous one and frankly, an amateurish one. What’s important is: are the photos interesting, well composed, well thought out and well executed. In all respects yes, yes they are. The processing is not ‘natural’ but neither is Kyle Thompson, Devin Supertramp or anything posted to Kinfolk yet they are all prof photographers.
Anyway, I would actually like to know how OP color grades. Curves? Gradient maps? Layer masking and layer overlay? So many choices and I am wondering which is least destructive to image depth.
