How can people shoot at this standard … and advertise themselves out as professional photographers at £70/$106 per hour, perhaps ignorance is bliss.

To my literal mind, that’s not the real question; it’s easy to shoot at that standard, put a flash in the hot shoe and rotate the camera. It’s easy to advertise. Perhaps less easy to think those photos are good enough to request money.
The question I have is, how do they find people willing to pay?
