@dont.care, I did that “for fun” editing with my friend’s engagement pictures. She actually wanted me to DO them in the first place, but her fiance, on a night of intoxication, promised his friend that he could shoot them, without really consulting her first! And they did not turn out very well at all. Supposedly, this friend and his girlfriend are both photographers so they shot the photos together. They worked for LifeTouch studios for 6 years. After I saw the photos I had to bite my tongue. I would have done a much better job! She brought her disk to my house and I loaded them in my Lightroom library and played around with them. My friend was not happy with some of the photos and I told her some technical things I would have done differently. I offered to re-shoot for them, but with her fiance’s and her conflicting work schedules (he’s a cop who works third shift, and she works first shift) it just never happened. I did re-edit a handful for my own benefit. I showed her a couple of the re-edits, but told her I could not give them to her because of copyright violation. I should post some to a private gallery and post the password here so you all can see the before/afters.
