Seth, it looks like it’s a combination of a few things. It’s more than likely just natural light in open shade. They may be using a reflector to illuminate her front side a bit better and even out the light. The lack of noticeable catchlights in her eyes tell me that most likely there was not flash fired. Color wise it’s a combination of correct white balance and a quality lens. For instance, I’ve noticed intense color clarity on my L lenses compared to my standard 85mm 1.8 and 50mm 1.4. This doesn’t make them bad lenses, but that quality is different enough that the colors don’t pop as severely.
