As far as the 1200 5.6, I’d rather just get the 800 with a 2x extender.. You’ll save 90 grand, and gain 400mm, or on a 1.6 crop body and achieve 2560mm equivalent.. Now, I know you can come back and say, ‘”Hey, well, I can take the 1200 and a 2x and achieve 2400; 3840mm on a crop.” I rebut that with, you’re still spending close to $100,000..
