Finger or Toe?

We’re not sure if that’s a tiny finger or a toe, but either way, it’s kinda creepy that it’s hiding out in that luffa!

  2. Bernard Rentajag says:

It looks like one of those dead baby mice you can buy to feed snakes with.

  3. Megan says:

I am really curious as to what this is.

  4. Sam Hughes says:

    I feel nauseous.

  5. Izzy says:

Looks like there’s nail varnish on the er…finger/very long toe.

    I don’t understand.

  6. MDS says:

    This makes me nervous.

  7. Sandy says:

    I’m so confused

  8. pdr says:

In the icon – what is the photo?

  9. Kate says:

No idea what that is or why they took a picture of it. WTF???

  10. Jeff O'Neal says:

    Is that a shitaki?

  11. Courtney says:

And it’s nail is painted?!? Of course, their profile pic is hands making a heart around a sonogram…

  12. TollToll says:

    Hrmm?? What???

Its a willy with nailvarnish hahaha!

  14. Dave says:

I really don’t want to know what it is… but did anyone else notice the avatar the fauxtog is using? A heart with an ultrasound in the middle…. nothing says classy photographer like that.

  15. Pelham says:

Who is stupid enough to put nailpolish on a baby/infant’s fingers in the first place? The little monsters suck on their fingers and toes a lot, don’t they?

Apart from that…no comment. Not worthy of one.

    • JLee says:

Thank you – that’s nail polish! I really thought it had a chunk of skin missing until I saw your post and looked at the picture again…

  16. Janet says:

I usually can come up with some clever quip but, today, I’m speechless….

  17. BurninBiomass says:

Parenting tip… if you find one of these in your luffa, you are scrubbing too hard.

  18. Jennifer says:

I’m so confused by this. The whole “why would you post that anywhere” aside, what is that in that loofah? It looks like nail polish but whatever appendage that happens to be appears to be bending the wrong direction. It creeps me out.

  19. After examining for awhile, and watching each of my family members freak out at the site of it, and ask with fear in their voice, “ewwwwwww! what is it!?”. I do believe we are looking at a toe with a heart sticker attached to it. Not a mystery appendage with a missing piece of skin found near a drain, wrapped in a shower gel srunchie, like we all originally thought.
Still…. Even after thinking it may be a decorated baby toe… I shiver and sit here without an appetite. This one wins the prize for being the grossest feature yet to date. Serious ewwwwww factor going on.

OBVIOUSLY this picture is a crime against photography, so I’ve been looking at it for the past ten minutes trying to work out the motive behind the crime. I’d love to see the rest of her… …and maybe see if this is part of a set. Maybe she has done a study of appendages posing with various bathing and grooming items. Maybe …. maybe she lets her kids play with the camera.

I hope she hasn’t done a “NSFW” theme as well. Eww…just…ewwww.

  21. Canaduck says:

Gross. It reminds me of the Stephen King story where the finger comes out of the drain of the bathroom sink and starts feeling around and getting longer and longer. It’s horrifying and so is this photo.

  22. AbsyntheGreene says:

I vote baby finger (with nail polish, who does that to anyone at an age when fingers spend a lot of time in mouths?) emerging from a shirt/dress with large frilly cuffs.
    Still creepy looking.

  23. Heather says:

That’s not nail polish.. it’s a heart sticker on the babies toe and it’s peeking out of the bottom of a ruffly layette. I guess they haven’t figured out Macro yet.

  24. justme says:

hm. this looks like that scene in every CSI episode right before somebody yells “aaah! dead body!” Or “holy shit, there’s a finger in my soup!”

  25. Jennifer says:

This could be one of those pics photographers volunteer to do at the hospital. When a new baby passes away or is stillborn, many parents don’t think about a photo, so they have pro photographers who volunteer to do it. Many parents are grateful for the memory, even if initially they are hesitant. Sometimes the photographer is asked to shoot a premature birth, very premature. I have seen a few photos similar to this one where the parents or photographer choose to have a picture of just a hand or foot because the baby is so early or deformed.
I am not making any statement on the photo-graphical merit of this photo. I just read through the comments and haven’t seen it mentioned as a possibility.

  26. Casey says:

    It’s a vagina.
