    There’s too many arms.

  2. Raven

No they were ‘tanning’ her and left out a whole section of her arm and hand. WTH that freaked me out a little.

  3. ashley

    Mind Blown.

  4. did they just break up right after the photo shoot?… bad cloaking device? odd mutation?
    i. am. scared….
*turns around looking for her 3rd arm…*

  5. Denise

Dude I seriously jumped when I saw it,lmbo!

  6. BurninBiomass

    I… er…. wha?

  7. Looks like a color issue, not a third arm. I did notice the edge of the backdrop showing on the left side…sloppy.

  8. Also the white cubes are distracting and unnecessary.

  9. Maggie

Maybe it’s a scar or burn that doesn’t tan? No way the fauxtog was trying to add a tan and ended up with that line…right?

  10. Susan

Her left eye doesn’t look quite right either.

  11. Butt arms are the new hotness

  12. ManOfDeath567

It’s not a “separate arm”. It’s actually a shadow and lighting issue on her left arm.

Too bad this was not fixed during the shoot.

You are right! Unfortunate… not too bad, however the crooked/showing backdrop bothers me just as much.

  13. Crystal

    That was seriously creepy! Lol

  14. Alexis

Too bad, this would almost be a passable photo (again, almost).

  15. ess.eee

you guys are cracking me up!
“Oh how pretty… wait a sec whose arm is that!?”
    hahahahahahahahahaha!

  16. BurninBiomass

Oh… is it the hair light that’s behind her and to the left putting extra light on the inside of her right arm?

  17. Ciao_Chao

Maybe she is a femme fatale and the arm belongs to the last man she murdered?

  18. Pelham

Must be using one helluva strong hairlight to cause that much colour shift on the arm. *cough cough diffuser? cough*

Sad because it’s almost a decent pic of a very pretty girls, but as usual, nope…*sigh* Distracting loud-patterned wallpaper bg, which is crooked (couldn’t find the straighten function, mebbe?) and the floor…the 70s are calling, they want their shag carpet back. Hope this wasn’t for her port, it’s awful!!!

Also hips square on to the camera, even with the legs canted like that, is very dated and unflattering to anyone with hips larger than 32 inches.

The best crossover! youarenotaphotographer.com meets psdisasters.com!!!

  20. Also the whole photo is slightly tilted to the left. This looks like a Pre-edited image – can’t imagine why someone would have posted this anywhere? I like the tone-on-tone theme though, and the model is very pretty. I don’t even have a problem with the posing, she is slim enough to pull that off.

  21. That one guy

its definitely her hand… the nails are the same and the same finger lengths. It looks like a crazy tan line or something which is brought out by the lighting… this shot isnt bad, that line on her arm kind of ruins it though

  22. dottie

no that’s definitely a bad composite of two photos, The white arm is totally unnatural

  23. Not a bad picture if it wasn’t for the post editing. I would also probably crop tighter. Its a pity because this image could have worked.

  24. Regina

It looks like she had a skin transplant on her arm, or a huge scar so the arm doesn’t tan in that area.

  25. Autumn

That may be her arm – but that is definitely 2 different photos. No one can get their arm to bend and lay like that without it coming out of their back. Take a look at the crease line vs how the hand sits on her hip. I agree that it ‘almost’ could have worked. The background and her eye bother me a lot though – and that arm/hand is just AWFUL!

  26. It’s just a lighting fail, it’s shadow created by a light source from behind. I’ve seen much worse than this surly you can do better?

  27. A genius they matched the tanned skin, dress and decor all the same hue! Judging by that backdrop/wallpaper this was shot, what sometime around 1978?

Forget the arm/hand photoshop surgery catastrophe, I think we should all club together and buy the fauxtog a spirit level of his rig!

  28. Capt Obvious

This was almost a nice picture. It looks to me like an inexperienced photographer who needs a little more time, especially with composition and I don’t think that this person is a fauxtog by definition (if there is one). This isn’t the type of photo worthy of ridicule that this site usually presents us from wannabe hacks.

If the photographer who did this reads this, don’t be put back from landing on this site. I don’t think you belong on this site, but keep working on developing an eye for what you are doing and you will get there. No one started off being a great photographer.
